My name
is Ann Johnson and I live in Madison,
Alabama, with my husband, Richard, and our cat, Izzy. I was born in
Springfield, Tennessee -- a small town that
is 30 miles north of
Nashville (Country
Music Capital, USA) and several miles east of
Clarksville (home
of Austin Peay State University).
I lived in Springfield for 18 years, then moved to
Huntsville, Alabama in 1989 where I attended
the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
I graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I've been
here ever since! I think it's a neat place to live.
I'm currently working at Adtran, where
Rich works. I'm a Helpdesk Analyst in the IT Department and love
it. I'm front line tech support for our internal users and it's a
challenging but enjoyable job.
I've also been getting back into web developing and have been learning CSS.
This page may undergo some changes over the next few months as I learn and
play! I'm also into photography again with my new Nikon D70. If

but I am currently working on a new gallery to be hosted here at
photos.annrich.com.
By the way, if you were thinking our cat's name was Shelby... that was our first cat. Shelby succumbed to SCC, Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Jaw in January 2006. Izzy came to us in May 2006 and has settled right in.
