Some more work done on framing the garage.  Ceiling beams up there.  Outside sheathing is up for the garage as well.  Framing over the porch too!

It's the garage!  It's a big one too!

This is THE BEAM that spans the garage width.  We're talking a BEAM!  It's basically 3 glulam beams - meaning glued laminate manufactured beam.  It's a serious one to hold the loads here.  (See, I'm using my mechanical engineering training!)

THIS is the front porch.  We like it too.  :-)

And, the daily shot of the front of the house.  That's me sitting on the porch.  It was about 102 degrees at this point.  Not fun.
